True, but I think it was actually Bugs Bunny who invented the old fake tunnel gag in Rabbit Transit. Bugs paints a tunnel onto a tree, Cecil Turtle runs right through it, and an incensed Bugs runs after him, only to splat right into the trunk and knock himself out.

Bugs may have invented it, but Wile E. Coyote (or is it Wiley Coyote?) *perfected* it.And thank you, Gavin, for the almost-compliment. Mr. Roberds lacks the common courtesy to fall all over himself praising me when visiting here. Maybe that's 'cause I don't spend enough time over at his place.------------------

Oh...Wait...Now that Bob has properly explained the history and reasoning behind the cartoon, I realize that your historical inaccuracy has drained the cartoon of it's relevant humor.Never mind.------------------
