No posts in 45 days. Have I missed something? We'd love you back.

Yep..it'd be nice to know if things are just busy lately or if there's a problem with lack of inspiration. Hoping all is well.

*sigh* :(

Why do you come back?

It's been something like 6 months without a single new Jackie's Fridge post. Yet we still come back here and look. Some of us CHECK DAILY to see if BJ had finally deigned to update the comic. Or even bother to reply to a message in the forum.

After 6 months of silence, why do you continue to come back?

I think part of it is that JF is such a neat comic that it keeps inspiring hope that there will eventually be updates. It's never officially ended, nor do we know the creator to be missing/doing something else/without internet.

For another, Tonja Steele updates fairly regularly, and if something happened to it, that would sort of make things feel final. As long as TS is around, I can look at it and imagine updates of the Fridge.

I've seen a lot of awesome comics come to an untimely end, the latest in my list being RPG World. But I've also seen an update on Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki after six months of not a peep, which is heartening. I guess it boils down to faith, stubbornness, and interest in a solid comic.

I love the characters, I love seeing their world develop. Jackie's Fridge is in my bookmarks list for a very good reason, and it's just as good if I look at a comic now or a year from now. I may not expect updates anymore, but I always hope.

Thanks Kiwegapa. I have had the same thoughts circling around in my head without the ability to put them into words.

We don't seem to mind waiting for quality and BJ work is solid enough that I don't want to give up hope.

Hmm... maybe I should do a guest strip.

I'd be interested in seeing it. Activity on the site is good.

It's especially harsh on new readers like myself, who only discovered the strip once the hiatus began.
I'm hooked, and not used to the wait. :(

Just wait, in a few months will be the anniversary of the last update.

Well, next month is going to be "Month of a Million Hbombs" between Snowflake, Have a Nice Day, and Hbomb's Brand New Comic (yes, I actually intend to update HaND and HBNC), and I guess I could add a couple guest strips to my workload.

Okay, do I have to personally come up there and kick your butt into gear or something? Cause I will! But first I'll have to find out where you live... and also get a car that can actually make the trip... and take time off work to do so... hmmm... I'll get back to you on that...

I used to live about an hour away from Stevens Point. I could point you in the right direction.
