OOoooohhhh Look! A a New Strip!

Post by TheAuldGrump »

Yep, it's back... though somehow the expression on Ada's face in panel 3 seems somehow more like... PsychoBlonde?

The Auld Grump, been a while since we have seen her...

It grew! I mean, how long has it been since she was on camera?

Ennh...Ada's new hair is okay, but I liked the old one better.

Didn't it used to be lighter?

But I STILL REMEMBER THE STRIP!

I think the idea is that these are the 'actors' who play our favourite strip characters. Ada needs her hair done to go on panel, I find that vaguely amusing.

I love Ada's hair -- in RL, it'd be honey colored....or something like that... (heeeeeeeee)
Oh, and as for today's strip? The Bitchin' Kitchen in perspective...and cars...I totally dig that. 'Cause I can't draw that ^^;;

Why is it there is always some jackass who can't be bothered to park between the bloody lines in the parking lot. Whenever I see someone with their tires slopped over the line like that, I have to repress the urge to go and key their car.

And it just gets worse in the winter.

Doc, you've seen Ada's car before. Do you really think she'll care if you key it?

And Byrdie, don't worry. I cheated on this one: I took a photo of the local Country Kitchen, sized it (and fudged it a bit to get rid of all the snow piled over its hedgework) and lightboxed it. Same with the Chevette. It's all about impressive results, you know. When I do the annotations for this one, I'll add the original photos I used so you can see.

Yes. Annotations. :D

Is that a sarcastic remark, cuz if I remember correctly the annotations kinda died out with the beach arc?

Only sarcasm directed at myself. I only did annotations for finished strips, and with all those unfinished strips choking the server, I kind of quit. But I think it's time to get back into it now that I think I have something to say again.

I think 'Hurrah!' adequately sums up my reaction to both today's strip and the above post. :D
