Is it just me, or was this a bad year for Halloween Web Comic wise? I can think of three striips that abandoned their All Hallow's plotlines...

I think BJ is going to give us a big Christmas present, he is going to post the whole storry all illistrated, and colored. yeah thats the ticket. He has it all done, but is waiting to give it all to us at once.
Hell at this point, I would pay for a comic book with the whole story just to see the ending.

Mostly I want to know what's going on. Is BJ busy? dispairing? dead?
If he's given up on the Halloween bit, just post the general plot and move on. I want more JF comics damnit!
Coooome baaaaack BJ! Weeee miiiiiiiss youuuuuu!

I'd hate to say it, but I think Jackie's Fridge needs to end...
Now, before you start throwing full wine bottles at your computer screens, hear me out. It's obvious that "The Beej" is having problems that can't be solved by simply meeting a deadline. What they might be, I don't know, but it's safe to assume they're enough to keep him from the strip.
What I'm suggesting is this, BJ... kill the Halloween story. It's obvious it's just become an albatross around your neck over the past year. Put up a nice synopsis of how you intended the story to come out and how it ends.
Then take a year off. Address the problems in your life that are affecting you. Find solutions to them. Get happy again. A Happy BJ is a Productive BJ.
Once you'd done all that, once you've take a year to rest and take some time to yourself, then CONSIDER working on the comic again. Decide if you want to continue making JF comics, or go onto something else. Be SURE you're ready. Don't bring out five strips on time, then drop back into a funk where you're lucky if you put out one a MONTH. Because, quite frankly, I'd rather see JF die an honorable death than drag on like this until it's utter misery for both the audience and the cartoonist.
I'll end this saying I've been reading BJ and Joey's work since the early days of Keen (when there was only about ten comics as opposed to the ten thousand today) and they are both very talented. BJ's a good friend, and I'm only saying this purely out of concern and respect.

Well, it's obvious that something is taking up all of BJ's time, and that something isn't Jackie's Fridge.
It's been over a month since he last posted an update. One would think that in a month, if he couldn't find the folio with the strips, he could have re-drawn them.
Since Joey continues to produce comics, it must be a problem that is specific to BJ. Of course, since he isn't talking to any of us, we can't help him.
We, the audience, have pretty much been hung out to dry.

How about Snowflake Studios?zodo wrote:Maybe BJ needs to do comics for the Pointer again, so he'll have a deadline to meet.
