How I spent Christmas, or how much for the books buddy?

Post by IanMatthewShot »

Ok, I can post to the keen boards again. Unfortunatly I had to create a new account to be able to do this. :(

Over Christmas week I treked up to Wisconsin once again to visit family and a few friends. While I up there I made arrangements to meet up with BJ and Joey. Well I didn't respond back to Joey's e-mail (I was in Ohio on the day it came into my mailbox. Hell, I slept in three different states in 3 days the week of Christmas). So Joey didn't show, but then again she was working on the next comic, so that was ok. BJ did show though. We sat around and talked for an hour or so, and if I wouldn't have had to go pick up my wife and son, I could have spent a few more hours talking with him.

Before I left I bought the Coleman Elementry, Jackie's Fridge, Zima Warrior Queen, and the three Tonja Steele comics from him. I then read all but the Tonja Steele comics that night when I got back to my Grandparents house in Wausau.

I had a blast on that Saturday.

Ian! You can post! You must've used the pixie dust and happy thoughts, as I suggested.

I had fun too--it was very cool to meet you (it's neat meeting someone for real instead of just "reading" them online), and you're right. I would've stayed until both our throats were raw from gabbing. Darn it anyway, those "family" things. Glad I don't have one.

I'm also happy you liked the books--Joey's beating me over the head with a frozen salmon until I get the stores (JF & TS) online, at which point she will stop beating me and I can eat the fish. And, since I like salmon, I'm gonna try to get both stores up and functional this weekend.
Here's to the worst times of my life.

I can post, I had to create a new e-mail address (it is nice to have your own server) to do this, but now I should be able to post. At least till the next Keen Board Screwup.

I didn't even get in trouble for leaving my wife with my cousin for 4+ hours of being out and about. I spent time with a friend from when I lived in Point before metting with BJ. She was having a good time visiting. So it was a really good day.

Next time I am up we'll have to see if we can get together and hang out for a bit. I never know other than Christmas when I might get up there.
