Haven't had anything to warrant a two-page thread. This will change pretty soon, though.
I kinda' figured you put some serious work into those--I'm only sorry I don't have an official JF book I could've sent. I dunno if all the music on that disc is quite your speed, but it's stuff that puts me in the JF mood or has been referenced in the strip (the song Jackie was singing in the shower, for example). Brian May's "On My Way Up" is so far my fave choice for a JF theme song, which is why it's first.
If anybody's interested, here's an incomplete track list off the JF soundtrack I sent Zodo:
On My Way Up, by Brian May
Feeling Better, by Sugar
May, by Vacuum Scam
Criminal Mind, by Fingerprintz
Louie's Return, by Brother
Love & Death, by the Darling Buds
Elvis Sunday, by Splashdown
Hang to Dry, by Julie Plug
Echohead, by Fingerprintz (they are Jackie's official favourite band)
Ordinary Day, by Great Big Sea
Dancing in the Storm, by Boom Crash Opera
Elevator Man, by Oingo Boingo
Then, by Vacuum Scam
Finetime, by Cast
Radio Religion, by Grace Pool
Rock & Roll Girl, by Katrina and the Waves
I Understand, by Splashdown
Take You Back, by Brother
The End of the Beginning, by the Darling Buds
There are a couple more that I didn't write down. And one glaring omission that I remembered once I sent it out was Toy Matinee's "Remember My Name". You can likely find the Toy Matinee disc in a blowout bin for about three bucks, and I'd recommend buying it. Phenomenal songwriting. It's the one with a large, black and white, smiling woman's face on it with a small, pencilled-in Snively Whiplash moustache under her nose.
I'll see if I can't come up with a version 2 some day. Glad you liked the package, Zodo!
