"Elmo wanna be a chicken, Elmo wanna be a chicken, Bwak bwak bwaaak!"
Mwa ha ha haaa. Let Elmo put his evil inside you! BWA HA HA HAA!!!.. hurf... hurmm... cough....
Seriously, I've played with those things at Wal-Mart, and here's a simple little tip to keep your sanity AND have a laugh. You know the button on its foot that you press to make Elmo sing? Press it, then at random times during the song, tap it rapidly 10-20 times. Your "Chicken Dance Elmo" is now "Hard Core Rapping Chicken Dance Elmo!"
Word to your mother!

The younger of my two sisters has two kids, 7 and 2. The older revels in buying the noisiest Christmas presents possible for these kids. This year, included was a set of musical instruments, including a tambourine, and jingle bells on sticks.
This older sister is due with her first kid in July. The younger sister is plotting retribution already.

I got lucky: we sold out of the CDE the first week we got 'em, and we never saw another box to this day. I did, however, have to deal with a motion-sensitive display for Kasey the Kinderbot, three working Leap Pad displays, the "We Did It" singing Dora the Explorer and a Scooby Doo plush dog that says "I Ruv Roo" and other fun phrases.
Personally, I just Ruv that Christmas is over for another year.

The Fridge probably has told her at this point. Actually, I just wanted an excuse to use the phrase "weird, stinky grip".
Sad, but true.
Oh, everybody make sure you check out the "interview" with Jackie (there's a link to it in the news on the JF page). Let me know if you like it or not; if you do, I'll post a few more. And if you like it enough to ask your own questions of the JF actors, let me know that as well!

BJ, that was just plain wierd.
Who the heck is that interviewer? Wherever did you get this idea from?
I think I liked it, but I'm not sure. I think it has to do with trying to think of these characters as actors playing roles. I've _never_ thought about a comic like that. Takes a bit of mind bending. If you've got more of these you want to make, by all means, go for it.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I'm not going to take the credit, but I am going to state that Snowflake Studios has a section where we interview artists of webcomics. Everyone we've interviewed so far has doen comics for us, but some, like Josh Nickerson, have has their own comics on Keenspace. I even tried to get an interview of BJ and Joey going, but I couln't get enough questions. I may try again soon.Seafog wrote:Wherever did you get this idea from

Snowflake Studios, home of "Jerry Little", "Rainy Day Comics", "Scarlet, P.I.", "47 Meatballs", and more. Storming on the internet since 2000.

This really made me want to do cast interviews for my comic. This was tasteful and fun, BJ. Thanks.
(However, I'd point out to Jackie that a comic can be nearly completely queer without being even a smidge political, plug plug pluggitey plug plug.)
Is Ada ever going to wear her "help me ahm single" outfit on-panel?

The interview was... interesting... some stuff I never knew before, but yeah. I must say Jackie does look a bit more pretty when she's out of character.
I would've also liked it if the interview had gone this way, though....
Jackie: What? I look taller in my pictures?
PR: ....huh? Ubbbah.....
Jackie: [eyeing me up] What country you from?
PR: What?
Jackie: "What" ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in "What"?
PR: What?
Jackie: ENGLISH, mother******! Do you speak it?
PR: Huh? What?
Jackie [pulls out a gun] Say "what" again.
PR: Huh?
Jackie: Say "what" again! I dare you, I double dare you mother******, say "what" one more *** damn time!
PR: What?
[gunshots go off]
