What, just because it takes me about 3.5 hours to draw a comic and I usually fall asleep several times in front of Photoshop while colouring it? Working too hard? Me?

I just have to think of more lame jokes like his. Or the second strips on this pageand this page.

Maybe the syndicates should start paying me and Joey. Then you guys would see new strip every day. Not that I'm trying to start some kind of movement....

When you said "movement" all I could think was:

You can get, anything you want, at Alice's Resteraunt...

And if one of you goes in there and sings that, they'll think you're really sick, and they won't take you.

If two, I say if TWO of you go in there and sing it in harmony, they'll think you're QUEER! And they won't take you.

Now if three of you, THREE of you go and sing it they'll think it's an organization, and, they might take you.

But if five of you, ten, a hundred a thousand of you sang it, then they'd think it's a movement, and by God that's what it'd be!

Hey, it was really funny twenty-five years ago when I had to register for the draft AFTER having completed a contract in the Navy. Harumph.

"Military Intelligence?"

I had to register for the draft (sorry, "Selective Service") when I turned 18. So, even though I objected to the process ("it's your choice to register, but we'll throw you in jail if you don't"), I went down to the post office and registered. Wah hoo.

I then proceeded to get several threatening letters from the military about how I had to register or they'd jail me, how it was going to affect my cirminal record, how much trouble I was in for not registering....for almost a year. I finally called them and asked what the deal was exactly.

They had transposed two of the letters in my last name--not when I registered, but in their file on whom to expect. But she did apologise and told me not to worry about the whole jail thing.

Question: If you hadn't been registered, how'd they know to send mail to you?

Heh. When I was 18 I didn't register because I had already enlisted in the Army, yet my parents got letters for me from Selective Service also. I ignored the first two Dad forwarded to me because, well duh, I was already in the Army, so what were they going to do, draft me? When I got the 3rd one, I finally read thru it seriously and saw that all I had to do was mail them a copy of my enlistment papers. Still... you think they could check the names of "delinquents" with enlistment records instead of wasting money sending out multi-page form letters.
