Missing posts and locked topics

Folks,
Wearin' the old moderator hat, here...you'll notice that some of our more popular topics are now locked. Reason for this is, sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, the JF forum (and maybe others, but definately JF) had a hiccup. This hiccup corrupted three topics - Who's YOUR Favorite Character?, What's YOUR favorite platyrrhine?, and BJ! *grrrrr....* - and there may be others, but I haven't found them yet.
The affected topics would allow posts to be made, but a) would not update the topic header on the main forum page when the post was made, b) would not update the page count and links correctly (listing posts as on "Page 4 of 3", for example), and c) would often return errors when the post was submitted.
Since I'm not sure what caused this, I can't fix it. It seems to have only affected those three posts, and being paranoid about phpBB (which, in all fairness, has been working pretty darn well for the last few months now), I don't want them somehow spreading their influence to other posts. Rather than delete them, I've locked them.
