Happy New Year! Well, okay, so my girlfriend dumped me during the first seconds of 2002, on what would otherwise have been our six-month anniversary, just after shying away from my attempt to kiss her at the ball-dropping.
But screw that. This is a new year. I'll graduate in June. That'll be *good*. Hopefully, from there to the U of Pitt. That'll be *good*. And, if all goes as scheduled, 152 more strips of Jackie's Fridge. That'll definitely be good.
------------------

>>I find myself somewhat distrustful that a university called 'Pit' is good.<<
That's nothing. There's a university just a few minutes' walk from my HS that, until just a few months ago, was called Beaver College. The jokes were *endless*, and, worse, internet filters cut it out. Sucks especially 'cause it's actually quite a good school. They were considering calling themselves a "university" anyway, to match with the international definition of a university, and decided to ditch the "I got into Beaver!" jokes in favor of being Arcadia University. But the jokes go on...
------------------
