Thought that might get your attention. Hi folks, it's me - I realize I've been pretty scarce lately (which sucks), but I HAD to jump in here with a plug for this strip. And before anyone asks, no, I don't know the artist, and no, I'm not a character in his comic. Nonetheless, I think his comic ROCKS, and IMHO, it's one of the best 'Space comics to come along since JF wowed y'all.
The comic? It's called Wapsi Square, and is another M-W-F comic that started in September of this year. The author/artist, Paul Taylor, describes it as a strip that "follows the lives of five post college age kids and the bartender who keeps them from hurting themselves. Monica and Amanda have the luxury of doing what they went to school for. Whereas Shelly, Jacquline, and Owen can't give up their day jobs until their band has a steady income." So, basically, it's a day-in-the-life strip, just like JF.
Anyway, I think you'll like it, so give it a try. That means you, too, BJ - it's currently got a small archive, so you should be able to get through it pretty quick.
So, forgive the off-topic post, but I honestly think that anyone who likes JF will like WS, and maybe y'all can convince anyone who likes WS to give JF a try.
BJ - READ IT. The thought of a possible eventual JF/WS crossover (now stop groaning, BJ) just blows my mind.
I'm babbling.
Later,
