Just curious: Is there some sort of chatroom for Jackie's Fridge already set up, or if not is anyone else interested in doing that/know how to go about doing that? I had the idea from Mega Tokyo. They have an irc channel.

Okay, what the hell... I'll set up #jackiesfridge on Nightstar when I get home.

I don't think there is, unless someone set one up already--I know I haven't, since it all kinda' goes over my head anyway.

Okay, channel #jackiesfridge has been created and registered on Nightstar!
Quick tutorial on how to get to it:

Download and install an IRC chat client. Good ones are mIRC for Windows, and ircle for Mac.

Make sure you're connected to the Internet, then open the IRC client program.

In the message window (called the null channel), type "/server irc.nightstar.net" (without quotes).

If this is the first time you are running the chat client, it will ask you for a username (nick). Give it one. Most people use their board names.

When it connects to the server, type "/join #jackiesfridge"

Proceed to have fun.
Hope this helps, and that I didn't leave out anything.
See you all there!

Well, irc.nightstar.net is where I usually hang out. There are a number of comics-specific channels there (I know, I helped set a lot of them up). We have #crfh, #avalon, #elflife, #webcomics (kinda dead lately), and #4toontellers. There are a few others, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.
It's kinda become the official network of Keen, almost.
Anyone who wants to participate, can go here to read a pretty nifty tutorial written by gwalla: http://www.keenspot.com/KeenBoard/Forum ... 88.html
(gwalla's Quick and Dirty Guide to IRC)
If anyone wants me to, I can set up a Jackie's Fridge channel. I know some have been hating comic-specific channels (Eight calls them brand name channels), but as long as a market exists for them...
