My friend Neko and I are going to be contributing a little something to a party we're both going to tommorow, and we're at odds on how to implement it. So, we leave it to you fine, sick, twisted, dirty-minded folks.
It's a mad-lib Truth or Dare.
My idea for implementation goes like this:
I tell everyone, "We're going to do a Mad Lib", and I start calling out for nouns/verbs/whatnot. Most of the Nouns are restricted to things in the room, to avoid "airplane" or "Empire State Building", which, while interesting, aren't terribly useful in this context. After we're done, I point to Alice and say "pick someone and ask them Truth or Dare." Alice picks Bob, who requests a Dare. I read the first Dare on the list: "Verb the nearest Noun." Bob performs this, and then picks Calvin, who wants to tell the Truth - Has he ever Verbed Name of Person in Room?
Neko's idea:
Alice says to Bob, "Truth or Dare?" Bob says "Dare." Alice picks from the list, "Verb while sitting on a Noun". She circles it with a pen, and passes it to the rest of the group. Calvin picks a Verb, and then passes it to Diane, who comes up with a Noun. Thus decided, they announce the contents of the Dare, whereafter Bob executes it. This concluded, Bob picks Calvin, who wants a Truth, and Bob selects "Would you Verb a Noun?", and passes it to Diane and Alice to fill in.
So, which do you perverted persons think is the better system? Neko's convinced me that to avoid really nasty embarressment beyond what's to be expected with this sort of thing, the person who's doing the Dare or telling the Truth is allowed to change one part of it. I figure simple peer pressure will keep the more interesting stuff in while excluding the really nasty ones, but we can't agree on a basic system.
------------------

We ended up combining the two - the asker-of-T/D simply prompting the peanut gallery for nouns, verbs, and whatnot, without telling them what it would eventually be. Sometimes it was obvious, though, which is why Mad Lib Truth Or Dare 2.0 will have much more involved sentances with dummy requests that aren't actually written down.
------------------
