I am a young bird in a nest, far above the ground. I have weights tied to my wings. By the time one week from now has passed, I will have lept out of the nest and attempted to fly. I doubt I will succeed. The weights are too heavy, and even if I do achieve flight for a time, they will probably drag me down. But I have grown tired of the nest and I yearn for the open sky. The sky is a glorious enough prize that I am willing to accept a likely fall to try to sieze it. I will leap out into the unknown, for better or worse.
In one week - perhaps sooner - I will explain what I mean. And no, I'm not moving out of my parents' home. The nest-ground-sky metaphor just worked best.
Sorry if this annoys anyone, but I'm indulging my long-time love of the melodramatic.
------------------

You know - that's pretty insulting, Zodo. I know that morals on the 'net may be relatively loose, but it's not right for someone to assume that everything's about dating/sex/variation on that theme. Possible, yes - but there are plenty of people online who aren't interested in every single sentance being interpreted to have implications like that, and I think you should apologize.
And yeah, she's fuckin' adorable.
------------------

Whoa dude, chill out. You were the one who aired the laundry with your "cryptic statement" there. I just took a guess at it, and used a tongue in cheek method to make that guess known to you. I meant no insult, and if you were insulted, you just might want to set your sensitivity down a notch or three.
Yeah, I admit I'm a perv, but I'm not as bad as many other denizens of the 'Net, and sometimes a statement is just as innocent as it appears. I'm sorry that you took offense with it.
I will avoid offending you further by refraining from responding to any more of your posts, 'kay?
-Zodo

Woah! Guys!
When it boils down to it, men have the fragile ego. Everything we do, every task we undertake carries with it the possibility that we'll fail, and the ego gets crushed. And what's the most crushing force? The opposite sex. I don't think that was too far of a leap, here.
Of course, my guess was that Hatboy was planning on starting his own webcomic and mistakenly thinks he can't draw. Good luck with your...um...stuff. Let us know a) what it is and b) how it turns out.
