What does Jackie, the Pig, Fridge, and a little dose of Sam Raimi have in common??
Jason's 90% finished 'fan strip' for Jackie's Fridge, that's what.
( i can see BJ shuddering now as i speak )
Anyways, sorry i've been silent for so long. Sooooooooo busy with wedding plans. I ran out of ink (on all three pens!!) last night so i'll get that finished up tonight and should be able to send that Fridge strip with the Pope Fiction collection either tomorrow or on Monday
talk to you soon!

....Sam Raimi? Ulp!
Of course, Mr Raimi provided the kernel of inspiration I needed for the Pig, so...I suppose it's natural in an unnatural kinda' way.
Dude, you've given me something to actually look forward to! I'm gonna be running my butt off for the rest of the month; I'll need as much joy as I can get!
Good luck with the wedding plans (shudder; Jason's gettin' married! MARRIED!!)!

Woo! Can't wait to see 'em!!
If you want, I'll try my hand at a colour job; yeah, we're using Photoshop. And if you don't mind, I might sneak in your guest strip to cover my butt during the NY trip. I'm gonna try to get enough stockpiled so there's no interruption during our vacation, but you never know. It might run the 8th of June if I do.
I love getting mail. I just hope you don't STOP drawing now that you've got this one done. KEEP DRAWING, YOU FOOL!!!
------------------

NY? sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! I really want to go there sometime. The farthest East i've been is D.C
Cool! I hope you like it...I was using a smaller Bristol sheet so i had to break the strip (about 6 or so panels) onto 2 photocopied sheets. if you could put one on top of another when you post it, they really belong together, they make no sense seperately. if you have any questions please holler.
no, i definitely won't stop drawing. my goal is to have a ton of strips ready to go when Mandy and I (hopefully) get our computer this fall/late summer.
i had a lot of fun doing another Fridge strip, so i might have to try doing Tonya and jobeth...
talk to you soon!

BJ,
also the guest strip i did shouldn't interrupt any continuity you have going...i have it set up in the first panel that makes what follows not set in stone.
anxious yet?
~jason

I GOT IT!! I GOT IT!! This ROOLZ!!
Oh my god, I laughed myself sick. And I loved re-reading all the Pope Fiction strips. I might give in to temptation and quickly throw a panel or two up here, 'cos this needs to be shared with everybody.
Jason, you ROK. I hope married life doesn't tame ya.
------------------

Glad you like it.
You can do anything you want w/ the Pope Fiction strips. If i'm able to get my own section on here sometime i'd like to put them all up, but in the mean time they're all yours to figure out
My concept 'Rocket Turtle' is slowly rolling along...mostly it'd be a joke a strip, with quite a bit of serious stuff too. I also have some ideas for a concept 'Sweater Monkeys' which i won't elaborate on quite yet.
married life won't tame me...i'll have more material to work with.
~jason
