Hee! Well, I think if your friend went to see the movie expecting deep, analytical subplots dealing with the whole human-alien confrontation, he was expecting WAY too much. =) It was MEANT to be a silly, campy movie, and I loved it for that. <P>And yes, I know of Star Control. I played the first one, the second one, and (shudder) the third one. I really, really thought the Syreen anamatronic dummy was a joke. They should have used a real woman for it. Egads. These are the 'seductive space-sirens?' Eek.<P>We come from *happy place*! *Tourists* should always be *happy*!<P>-PsychoBlonde

Weird. I ALSO have it on vinyl, and it was my intro to him as well. Scary! I know it's out on CD...gotta get me one 'a them. Hehe. I still have that album somewhere on vinyl. It's a great album. I don't know where I originally got it, but it's what first put me onto Geore Carlin. Great stuff.<P>-PsychoBlonde
