<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>Indeed. Of course, as a province of the Imperium, you are only allowed to elect Tribunes, who in turn choose Magistrates from the central Clans of the Imperium. This is further complicated by the Proconsuls (the leaders of the provinces) who have veto power over Tribune appointments, and who are in turn chosen by the Publicani (or tax-collectors). Those wishing to gain the office of Publicani must of course gain the favor of the Serf Orders and the Praetorian guard first. Then they have to, um, go fight a hydra or something.(Damn, it was a lot easier to take over the Comic Collage forum.
