First thing I gotta say is "Neat!"
I'm not sure how, but the girls in the 'new' version look older, somehow. In the older strip, they look like teenagers, and in the newer one, they look adults.
I like what the zipatone has done for Ada.
-Zodo

Thanks, Zodo--I like the new look myself.
I think the reason the girls look older is because 1) their eyes aren't as "staring" anymore and 2) their bodies are a bit longer, and their heads are smaller in proportion, giving them a more adult look.
Whew. Enough of that. I'm on vacation!!
I'll see you guys on the 16th!

And two days later, the first of the 'new' strips will appear! Yup - August 16th is the last day of the older style art - be here Friday, August 18th, for the new stuff!

------------------

That soon! Wow. (or should I say Waiow! ? )
I was expecting your older issues to go a bit longer.
I see that today's strips are one-shot strips, instead of storyline, like we've had for the past week. Interesting that it does establish that Jackie is dieting. She doesn't seem to need it, IMNQHO. It makes me wonder, though, how she would get non-diet stuff in the fridge...
Then I remember the stuff I buy when I go shopping before eating dinner. Diet? What diet?
-Zodo

I like the "cleanness" of the new style. It is much easier to see.
And I am *so* like Jackie in the example given for the new style. I would *love* to speak French, but learning it is just so tedious . . . :P

Yeah...I think a lot of people are like that.
Oh, Zodo, I got rid of the dieting angle, because you're right--Jackie certainly doesn't need to diet. But. I put the opposite spin on it. Now she complains she's too scrawny. I'm not sure when those strips will run, and I don't really like the art in them, but thought I'd mention them.
