But I loved Ada's shiny hair...
Oh well.
Thanks for coming back, BJ!
LOVE the layout choice. It's the same one I made!
The sideways page is a great compromize between "book ready" formats and "screen ready" ones.
Also, it lets you get creative with panel sizes, which is huge.

Hi Allan!
Don't worry, the shiny hair will return, once Ada reports to makeup. I'm still kind of excited about the new layout, but I keep forgetting which lines are which, and I had to fudge a few places this time. Hopefully my next page'll turn out a little better.
But anyway: Yay!

All I have to say is this:
Manhood with cilantro and eggplant...eeeeeeeeeewwwwwww!!
EGGPLANT??? Now that's just mean
(that was worth waiting a week for!)

Update: inks are finished, I just need to scan & color the strip. And y'all will have to wait until next week when the comments for this strip show up in the archives--there's a reason (albeit a dumb one) I chose eggplant.

Lou Martinez, eh? Is this the first time we heard her last name? If not, this is the first I remember ^^

Oh, and may I say, Abso-fab use of the page format lately. The bleeds are all quite yummy and I like the pacing. The color rules verily, but it always has in this comic.
And Bippy makes me laugh maniacally, now more than ever.
"Can I get back to work," indeed.

Whew! Just finished the archives in one go.
I laughed very loudly at the Ak! Ak! punchline. It's been a few years since it was written and longer since Mars Attacks was released, but that's the sort of thing you don't forget easily.
I was shocked to find the Bis reference. Those guys were great. Too bad I discovered them after they'd broken up.
This seems like the perfect time to discover this strip, now that the hiatus is ending.

As seen in the strip
'WORK is a four letter word'
Heh, the problem with weekly updates is that I have to wait SOOOOOOO long for the next one!
I'm spoiled.

.....Mrs. Cabal.
Dang, BJ, I'm just getting over the 'Miss Martinez' thing...
Actually, I'm surprised the owner knows their last names at all

I'm cheating in the spirit of Getting On With It. This is nothing compared the the big ol' cheat I'll spring on y'all in an estimated few months. I feel bad about it, but hey. GOWI, right?
I just assumed Richmond grilled Bippy on their way to the breakroom. And yeah, c'mon. Who wouldn't wanna be married to Bip? I declared to Joey that I was gonna make Bippy married, and she looked at me like I was a moron and said, "I thought she was married to Frankie." (One of Joey's Tonja Steele characters has an arm tattoo with "Bippy" written across it.)
Duh! I AM a moron!
And Byrdie, just so you don't get over the name game too quickly, how's about Louisa Francesca Martinez and Belinda Ann Cabal?
Lou and Bippy are just easier to fit into a dialogue balloon.

I kinda figgered that Bippy and Frankie had a thing. Didn't expect 'married', but I ain't complaining.
So who is this Frankie, you might ask. Well, I might tell you!
Love the shape of his head.
And on the subject of the Bitchin Kitchen...
