Has anyone else found Keenspace to be really flakey lately? Accessing the site of any comic has been hit or miss, and JF still shows Wednesdays comic. Is this intentional? Has something come up BJ? Normally I wouldn't worry about it, but even the forum's been silent on the subject (when I could even access it).
Anyone got any info on what's happening they could share?

Yeah so now Keenspace is on a different server than Keenspot ... except for the www stuff like this forum which is still on the 'Spot server it seems. (The forums have been up even when everything else seems to be down.) The autoupdate system was still out of commission last I checked tho.<P>------------------

Joey and I have been unable to access anything Keen related (even FTP) for the past few days. Top that off with a disaster of a weekend (I don't wanna go into it, but let's just say neither of us had the time or inclination to draw) and I'm assuming there won't be any comics for the misssing days.<P>I'll tell Joey Keen seems to be back up--I know she'll be wary but releived, as I am. We're both trying to get back on schedule today, so starting with <A HREF="http://thenolans.keenspace.com" TARGET=_blank>Josh Nickerson's</A> guest strip tomorrow, JF will begin the healing process.<P>------------------

Here's the full scoop on what's happening with Keenspace...
The guys in charge of the whole deal decided to move everything to a new server, so that all Keenspace comics would run faster, smoother, and better and be easier for the common man to use. The process went smooth for about five minutes and then it was a matter of "insert shit A into fan B" and everything started going wrong. The autoupdate system started working so slowly that only 600 out of the 4500 comics would update per day. The server kept crashing over and over again and every time the poor guys thought they had figured out the problem, it turned out to be something else.
In any case, they've been working very very hard on it and hopefully will have it all sorted out before the week is over. Until then, it's probably a good idea to take a break. ^_^<P>------------------
