Ok, I decided that this post might fit well here in Keenime (Don't want the forum to die!)

I really really REALLY want a wooden doll to help with diferent postitions. You know the kind that no one would ever use in any other situation but the one your drawing yet it's crucial to the picture. anyway I really want one but don't now where to get, or how about getting one. *pouts* One of my friends, little brother has one and its so cool! its not fair! oh yeah, so if anyone knows how or where to get one the info would be apretiated. ^_^

Hmmm, well I once made a penguin from a kneaded gum eraser, so I guess you'd do something like that. I'd check out swap meets and trade shows for those wooden dolls. Lots of arts and crafts stuff at places like thay.

try a local art store, as well. they should have them. Wooden dolls, are well known to help not so much with figure but with lighting for gradient rendering and what nots. a copy of poser is more expensive, but if all else fails its a good help too to get some lighting guides. to bad the anatomy isn't to my liking.

cool, Ill have to check out our art/craft stores here (though there's not much "here"). And as far as lighting I can normally visualize it. i can just see it 3D in my head.

All-in-all I guess that I can allways go on EBAY or sumthin to find the doll.

Thanx!

I'll ask around for you as well Pyro, for internet sites you might be able to find one at.

my lighting issues arn't usually on faces. but my clothing lighting really isn't to great.
