[OT] 21CF Fan home page link request
I did this 3 or 4 months ago on the Freefall forum, and it was a lot of fun - I figured I'd duplicate that success here by asking everyone to either update their profile to include your personal web page or to post a link to it directly below.
Mine is http://www.caspeed.com , and I also run http://www.ssn639.com and a couple of others besides.
There's quite a mix of talented people here, and surfing our collective web pages is a great way to learn more about our little cyber clan.

All my 3D renders, a sad comic and some stories, plus spaces for links to more stories that aren't HTML'd yet (because I'm slack) is at http://www.battyden.net.
If you want to know about the bats I've rescued (but not the latest ones because I haven't updated it, what with me being slack and all) the go to http://www.ozemail.com.au/~denbat
batty den
More bats in comics!

Okay, here I go:

An alternate history site I worked on before I got started on my own comic. I'd really like to continue with it, but FCE takes up so much of my time I can't seem to squeeze it in...

OH! O'Tay!
Well, my website is already a part of my sig line, but I'll go ahead and mention that I just finished updating it just today with a bunch of New Art and a New Wallpaper that some of you "Freefall" fans might like.
Have fun and explore the website, there's alot of stuff in there.

Unfortunately, I have no web site of my own, due to lack of any real content, So I took this chance to update my portfolio with some other info, including a new ICQ number (just identify where you got my number from, so I don't ignore your message).
Oh and to express that this is a really good idea Mako

All right. This sounds like an interesting idea.Mako wrote:I figured I'd duplicate that success here by asking everyone to either update their profile to include your personal web page or to post a link to it directly below.
The first non-business web site began as a place to hold the chapters for the story I'm working on, "Impacted Wisdom". It still does that (in "Chapters"), but I've added sections for poetry and other ramblings recently, and will post more such materials to it.
It's an EZBoard site, but I have killed the advertisements.
http://pub5.ezboard.com/bimpactedwisdom
The second is simply my own LiveJournal. I'll point you to a rhymed recap of the year, simply because it mentions 21st Century Fox:

Pretty interesting stuff, everybody!
Thanks, Mako! It was one way to merge my interests in SF an history, and I learned even more while doing it. I'm not completely done with the "Five Nations" timeline (I want to take it up through the mid-1970's), but like I said, I don't have quite the same amount of time as I did before.Mako wrote: Very interesting stuff the Matt, looks like a creative way to have a lot of fun.

I am sorely tempted to order Baxtrr's CD as well, the only glitch being that electronica hasn't to date tripped my trigger. I need melody it seems, otherwise it just doesn't connect... I'm coming from the proggy side of the house so to speak. Think of everything from crusty musty old Genesis, Yes, Finch on up through the neoprogs warriors like Pendragon and IQ, on into the esoterica of Ozrick Tentacles, White Willow, Anglagard and Anekdoten.
Ahh, LH has reminded me in his post above that I also have a Live Journal going on:
http://makovette.livejournal.com
My bad for not posting that link.
Also, anyone whoi hasn't had a chance to read LH's novel-in-progress should definiately check it out...

My stuff is a bit more melodic, at least in places, than your usual ambient stuff. Tracks 2 and 4 of the CD have actual choruses and verses and stuff like that, honest! But if you don't like the arx in between, I don't blame you for being cautious. And I can't offer to autograph it for you, as it'd come to you direct from CD Baby...although if you mailed it to me I'd sign it and send it back...Mako wrote:I am sorely tempted to order Baxtrr's CD as well, the only glitch being that electronica hasn't to date tripped my trigger. I did enjoy the article you wrote describing the making of the CD, sounds like you had a lot more fun pulling it all together than you originally anticipated which is very 8) indeed.
The closest thing to electronica I like to laser burn the the label off of is "Last Train to Lhasa" by Banco de Gaya (the Brit guys, not the many Italian or Spanish or whatever BdG's that are out there). It's a 2x CD, the 2nd disc in particular is exceptionally tasty stuff.
I'll happily exchange an autograph for a hi-rez version of Baxtrr floating above her lawn chair in musical bliss

I am happy to have at least been able to see the Gneech's artwork first hand, that was very, very 8)
Next time out I'll be on a far more relaxed schedual. Bonus is we'll be better able to coordinate things as well, hopefully you will have a few days off at the same time...
