Some more rendered sort of things

Some more rendered sort of things

I took a few liberties with Scott's original drawing. The taxiways are different for a start, and the control tower has a base and supporting cables.

The cables are there because I thought they'd look cool.

But over all I'm happy with it.

Hey great pics.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed.

I'd also be lying if I said I wasn't jealous.

I'd also be lying if I told you that I lived on Mars.

Great Job!

But ! can't draw. And I still don't know how to do a character.

The software is cool like that. Set the object, light, and texture, and let the shadows fall as they will. :D

If you mean a character in POV/Moray, I've got a program that will help. It lets you do a character in Poser and translate it into POV-ray and Moray formats as a Mesh2 object. If Levelhead is willing to supply the Poser figures in .obj format that is.

I think you mean Little Dragon. He's the Wizard of Pozer. :)

Would love to see what he and Batty could come up with! :D

Memo to self, go with first instincts. I put Little Dragon in in the first place, but I second guessed myself. BTW, where is LD & LH. Haven't seen either one of them for a while.

I'ld offer to help more as I have both Poser 4 and POV-ray 3.5, but I'm without a wireframe modeler until Moray 3.5 comes out. Until then I can try stuff, but I can't see what I'm doing without actually rendering.

I have been busy, second-guessing myself as well.

Indeed, as is now clear, Little Dragon is the master of three-dimensional furry renderings. The combination of Batty Den's work with Little Dragon's promises to be very interesting.

I wouldn't call myself a master.

Rowsby, on the other hand, is worthy of the title. Check out some of his characters, like Quentin and Spinnaker, if you have the time. He has a gallery at Renderosity.com, also.

I love the animation LD, very cool. The LDTV watermark is a great idea, I loved it :)

Rowsby has a couple of aces in his pocket beyond the immense talent you both share. He's got the Software to Die for as well as serious professional does this to eat experience.

Given the tools and time that you have available to invest in your work, I"m damned impressed with what you've been able to create.

CYa!

Well, I would. So there! :P

Looks good! As Mako said, the LDTV bug is great!
One small suggestion: I'd consider making her iris and pupils larger.
With all the white of the eye visible, it looks a bit like she's doing a
"Scared Take". Also, when she smiles, you might consider perking
her ears slightly.

Keep up the good work! :)
