We seem to have had a thread wander off on us.

Post by Daniel Cougar »

The thread about the emotional impact of the one strip is like, gone. I'm looking at the board now and I don't see it. I just posted something to it not four hours ago.

Hmmm... Unicorns are supposed to be all cute and innocent.

So how come they feel they need to profess that innocence...?
Hmmm...?

And of course, to get a new one built, we'll all have ... pony up.

So, what does our unicorn artist friend have for inspiration? An ephipony.

Welllll...I was in the process of adding another message to that Topic Thread, and wanted to update my profile and the next thing I know...poof...gone.

Now I feel bad because I think I may have done something that caused that Topic thread to crash.

I'm sorry...

Whatever happened seems not to be permanent, as the Emotional Panorama thread has returned.

But if you really felt bad, you could start a new topic with your name on it. It would be, ah, eponymous. ;)

White Pony, it's obviously a temporary condition as well as a bug in the software. Hardly anyone's fault, and certainly not yours. If it were me doing something, I have the moderator's authority to *really* screw something up. If that happens, oh Boy will I feel stupid, but as far as I know, I'm really the only one capable of screwing something up.

So, please accept my apologies for even joking that it might've been you.

Here, have a mint.

(Ooo... wrong pony... um... )

I've got a box of milkbones here... Maybe you could give them to Florence. I'm sure she'd like 'em. :D

Because White Pony is nothing if not a professional. ;)

I would agree with Mr. Kellogg; I entertained no notion that you had actually caused any forum problem!

The KeenStop forums are ultimately going to smooth out, I hope, but in recent times have suffered their more than fair share of glitches. These seem to be autonomous, or caused simply by use.

At least I don't think I did it.

I'm happy to see that the original Topic returned. Whew!

Level Head...your pony puns are amusing. Thank you. :D

Thank you Scott, but no mint for me. I have a very sensitive stomach and have to be extremely careful about what I eat--I HATE my stomach.

You're welcome. They were mint for you. ;)

You seemed a little concerned about the erstwhile missing thread topic, so I attempted to cheer you up.

Perhaps a story would work: "Once a pony time..."

Officially we unicorns eat flowers for nurishment, absorb sunshine for power and thrive on hugs, love, doggys (Florence) and chocolate chip cookies. :D

I'm saving that recipe...Thank You! I'll just substitute lactose free margarine and use Ghirardelli Semi Sweet Double Chocolate Chocolate Chips instead of the milk chocolate chips.

How did you know that Chocolate Chip Cookies were my all time favorite? Especially fresh home made, warm right out of the oven... You have inside information???

Special Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Post by ZOMBIE USER 7666 »

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 1/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 package (4-serving size) Jell-o vanilla Flavor "Instant" Pudding/Pie Filling (use dry, do NOT add milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 package (12 oz.) chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix flour with baking soda.

Combine butter, the sugars, pudding mix (dry), and vanilla in a large mixer bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Beat in eggs.

Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chips.

Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
(NOTE: I like those new Baker's Secret Air Insulated baking sheet from EKCO.)

Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.

Makes about 7 dozen.
(NOTE: Which won't last one day with a unicorn in the house.)

I had made a comment to it, when back to edit it, and then it seemed to have disappeared while I was sending the edit back in.

You know...I think Jenny and Florence are sharing secrets.

As of this moment, the "Goggle Ancestors" thread seems to have disappeared.

Curious.

And just when we have discovered, through Mako's hi-res display of Scott Kellogg's artwork, that the Lioness is wearing a quite impressive pair of goggles herself.
