Town Names

Post by Kellogg »

Okay,

How many odd comic town names can you all come up with?
Gene Catlow is in Furriston.
Kevin & Kell is in Domain...

What else is there out there?

Are you looking for any city names, or just those in comics?

In Colorado there is a city named Buena Vista (prn BYOOnuh, not BWENuh), and my mom has a friend who lives in Coxsackie, NY (say that aloud to get the humor of it-- the 'a' sounds like a 'u').

Except for Domain, and Falfurrias, the closest I can come is Bloom County. Which of course wasn't a town, really...

Welcome, Otrstf!

Heh... one might say Leavenworth is a funny name. To be worth it's leaven (yeast). :)

Especially when thinking not of the base in Kansas, but of the "Bavarian Village" in Washington. :)

Let's see...
Montmorency blvd, Royal Anne Avenue, Richmond Avenue, Van Avenue, Nanking Avenue, Naden Avenue, Deacon Avenue, Windsor Avenue Morello Avenue, Rainier Avenue, Royal Duke Street, Lambert Drive, Wild Cherry Avenue, and Bing Avenue.

Ok, but what about Parkhill Road, Frontage Road, Beverly Burke Road,
Road 1 SW, P.5 SW, and P.8 SW?

So not ALL the streets are named after cherries.
