Comic Artist's Advice?

Hey, i'm Seiya. I got my first webcomic comin up as soon as Keenspace gives me an account. Do any of u other webcomic ppl have any advice 4 a first-timer?

Yes, practice practice practice, draw on homework if you have to. Form a unique style. Even if you have to start at stick figures (which I did in 4th grade), work on the computer with text and making it readable. Try to work in colour as soon as possible, it makes the comic look really good, it is the perfect compensation for lack of artistic talent (aka my art).

*ahem* um.. nekomimi here seems to ave beat me to responding... and did a very good job of filling you in it seems...<p>
yes, basically, the most important things are:<ul>
<li> practicing - make sure you have the art just the way <i>you</i> want it
<li> make sure the content is good. [not nescisarilly funny, but good.] content is more important then the art. [sad, in my case, but true.]
<li> appealing to all ages isn't a nessesity, but it can sure help your reader count</ul>
but <b>most important</b> of all:
<ul><li> make sure you have <i>regular</i> updates! even if none of the above apply to your comic, this will keep them coming back.</ul>
