Kia Asamiya's Uncanny X-Men designs

Iceman looks great, Nightcrawler looks devilish, North Star looks more like a real CHARACTER, and Angel looks like utter crap.

I just wish Asamiya would WRITE as well, considering the horrible shit writers that Uncanny X-Men attracts. I mean, Asamiya isn't exactly the paragon of manga writing, but, still, look around for the Uncanny X-Men: Poptopia graphic novel and see my point.

Geez, what's up with the whole "Jew" discussion? I don't think it's racist at all to admit that people from various ethnic groups share common physical characteristics. If Northstar was drawn with a single eyelid fold and a smooth nose, would it be racist to say he looked oriental?

FWIW, Northstar looks more French to me.

Kia Asamiya does kick the ass muchly, indeed. I like the looks here... I can't say I care much for the Nightcrawler design, but that's more a matter of personal preference. (I like his "fuzzy elf" look from X-Men: Evolution.)

Ah, and finally, a female design. Hm. My Leen action figure is smiling, she must approve.
