In random-girl-the-character-was-based-on news, she was standing in front of me in the huge line to get into our War Politics and Propaganda lecture today... I always sit at the back row (because I don't like people peering over my shoulder when I'm trying to draw comics and not take notes) and ended up going up behind her up the stairs... she then sat in the back row with her friend and RIGHT ON THE FUCKING END. I had to walk all the way down to the front and back up the other side!"Why didn't you just say 'excuse me' and force your way past like a proper student?"Because I would probably have said 'Scuse me Alexia'.Also, Centurion, Meta ->L<- Angel has an 'L' in it <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> and you didn't really say all that shit to her, did you?------------------

Well, as those of you who read Meta-Angles "Name that girl" thread know, Alexa (the name he picked) is the name of a cute girl in my Spanish class (who also looks a bit like her cartoon incarnation.)well, I finally got the courage to ask her out, but but first I go into it graduallyME: "Hey, you wanna study for friday's quiz?"Her:" Okay!"The Next day:Me:"Hi!"Her:"Sorry, I can't study today, I've got to get home and take care of my 4 year old son."Me:"Um...Okay"Her: "Yeah, and I have to get to work too."Me: " Where to you work?"Her: "I dance."Me: "huh?"Her: "I strip, Ima stripper."Me: "Intresting"[She takes out a pack of cigs]Her"Want one?"Me: "nah"her: "suit yourself."<awkward pause>Her: So what do you do?Me: "I'ma political science major. I applied for a summer internship with the State Department. I either wanna do that or some other kind of forign service.Her: "Well thanks for making me feel like crap.Me: "Hey, don't feel bad, all you do is show your body off. Haha! I'm from South Texas! I have 90% immunity to normal, magic, and internet fire damage.BTW, what the hell is a WRMMF or whatever?Anyways, I talked to her again. She's a very nice girl who seems to have idiot parents and made some poor choices in life. (She's turning 23 this friday, I'm still 19) Most of it seems realted to money. So I've been talking to her about starting up her IRA (retirement account. It matures when you turn 55 or so, but if you start putting money into it while you're still in your 20's, you should have very few financial problems when you're older.) And so on.I like her, on a personal level, even if I now have reservations about getting into her pants...or even visiting her apartment.Her: "I used to think I was bad, but my roomate ran out of her mental medication and went insane this weekend."Me: "Huh?"Her: "Yeah, she was screaming, drunk, and trying to call God on the telephone."Me: "How...intresting."::very awkward pause::Me: "So what's God's phone number?"Her: "Apparently it the same as her ex-fiance."

Keep going with it. Any sane person would've run away in screaming horror when the girl looks, acts, sounds, and practices magic like Gwynn from Sluggy Freelance (not to mention having Sluggy Day as a birthday), has an affinity for revenge and a case of kleptomania. But I stuck with her, and we're celebrating our first anniversary next month!------------------
