All I want to say is, nice usage of the the light and darkness in the panels of the most recent strip.

I especially like how the boarders fade to white to add to the mood.

And also, Moo. (that last moo was added for realism's sake)

A giant slug, maybe?

I think it's some kind of bug-like thing. That would explain why the girls are grossed out, and Dalae thinks it's cool...
