Hi....

Post by Freknlasrs »

I've been reading TWoC for awhile now (and enjoying it immensely), and only just decided to go ahead and register with the boards.

I have a question, though... forgive me if it's been asked already. How exactly do you pronounce the name of the "ancient sentience that uses plants as it's senses" which rangers (and Hazel) can speak to?

Hee hee... looking through the archives, I have to say that I really like how Mitch's ears flop at times. :D

And, um... that's about all I have to say. For now.

Vn

Oh, I was wondering when someone would bring that subject up.

The reason I use that sybol in the comic for the name is to distinguish how the sound is different from what we'd find in our own language. Probably the closest way to write it in English is 'Vn'. As for saying it, it's kind of like going 'Mmm.' only with more of an 'N' sound to it and a short 'V' in front of it.

Given all that to work with, you might be able to see why I decided to just use that symbol.

Hi from me too

At the risk of being repetative, hi I'm new as well. My story's about the same. I really enjoy the big full-colour comics, and Mitch is my favorite (I like dragons/reptiles). I have to agree with Freknlasrs about Mitch's ears...
...well, that's about all. :D
