Probably will. He has his own shiny new forum, after all.

Anyway, I just want to say well-done on the new website! Looks good, and there's two new comics too. I hope that RH can get on a regular schedule, but in any case, he's off to a good start. Whatever the forumites may believe about RH's reasons for leaving, I think it's only natural transition, myself. He's certainly not the first to move away from Comic Genesis. Anyway, cool. Website is now bookmarked.

How interesting.

Strange, that each comic, including Onions, is given it's own seperate gallery. My, but that's a clever idea.

Sarcasm aside, I agree, it looks reasonably well done. I may even start reading again...

... Nnnnnnnnah.

Thank you.

So much for 'not caring about being a mod'.

I doubt if I'd even be allowed to sign up.

That's hardly fair, Aurrin. So long as you don't act like a jerk or resort to name-calling, you'd be fine there, just like you have been here.

Honestly, I think the detractors are over-reacting. Ralph simply didn't feel safe with a leftist admin controlling the fate of his comics and forums. Fair or not has nothing to do with it; he doesn't trust them. The move is hardly surprising.

You can disagree with and insult him all you want. He's not here anymore. Now if you want to cause trouble, you'll have to deal with him and Brock, his SysAdmin.

I expect most trolls to be given the boot right quick.
I'm lost. I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait. Thanks.

For the record:

I set up the forum and the website for Ralph, and I have not, repeat HAVE NOT pre-banned anyone. Neither has Ralph (who, as best I know, has left the administration section of the board completely up to me - thought he can use it, of course). If anyone gets banned on the new forum, it's because they hung themselves on their own rope by violating the forum rules (all of which I have laid out according to commonly-accepted forum rules - no spam, porn, trolling, etc).

Aurrin, I'm not certain what you meant by that statement. Have I missed something? In any case, take a look and see if you like it.

Correct. Consider that he was told that making trouble would get the comics removed: that's a threat to his livelihood. Regardless of whether or not he did anything to earn that, he took his livelihood elsewhere, where he could control it more. Smart business decision. The only reason the new website's taken so long to show up is because I had some... technical troubles... making the website.

Nice layout! Very nice!

Oh...oh my...hey Ralph, can you make a high-quality scan of that Power of Cheese comic? I want to take it to Kinko's and make one of those "Business Inspirational" posters and get it framed!

As for the detractors? *shrug*

From a standpoint of being able to say whatever he wants, however he wants without anyone being able to say a single thing otherwise, then yes. It's a very sound decision. Can't have your comics pulled for breaking any rules, when you make the rules.

From a financial standpoint, it makes slightly less sense than staying with Comic Genesis, since CG is free.

However, if Ralph signs up with Google's AdSense, then the site can pay for itself several times over and he can pocket the remainder. Bonus!

And hey! Now I only need one link to get my comics fix! Otters definitely approve of efficiency in laziness. XD
