Who should advertise?

RHJunior's new ad space seems to bring up the question of what kind of individual/organization/company should run an ad in that location. What's the relevant audience and who should be buying the space?

If I had a comic up and running, I would be first to ask RH for space... mostly to support his efforts but also because my comics will likely appeal to the same audience.

How about the ACLU? (ducks and runs)

If I get any sci-fi or fantasy comics running, I'll consider buying space. Better than nothing.

So far, what's been identified are other comics. Those are going to be very unreliable because they are likely not going to have positive cash flow (Ralph's operation is a rarity). How about businesses that make money?

I mailed a check to Ralph for my website (stories and essays I have written, many but not all anthropomorphic). It was put under my apartment door. Looked at it, nothing seemed wrong, had one of those newish stamps that just said first class, but not 39 cents. Bit wrinkled from a few water drops (mailed on a rainy day here). I remailed it and it has not been returned. Maybe it was "just one of those things".
