Well, as an artwork i must say you're getting better ^^ the colouring is nice, the lineart is pretty darn good! Shading and highlights are always good imo, but they arnt needed as much here (it looks fine as is for a headshot 
)
As an avatar, i dno ... i dont think of Lacre when i think of doink .. i think of F&G
but its up to you whether you want to change it, ill just have to adapt
