Do you people have any idea how weird this is, discussing someone else's comic in the forum of one that is so GOOD??? Is Rod Serling the moderator?

sorry for butting in, but I did assume that there was a higher ratio of children reading THIS forum at least, them all being fantasy nuts, so could we be more selective in our postings here?

Anyway, since my mind was already warped I was already hooked by Better Days (for one thing, I had it one the list of what should replace Robot Chicken or Fmaily Guy as far as content was concerned). However I finally am trying to give up the addiction because I am really ticked off from this latest chapter. I mean, Jay has compleately ignored Timmy's integrity and feelings about the whole matter! Neither Lucy or Rachel are good enough for him! Yet sometimes, it's a horrible, horrible truth for me. You keep returning to these comics just becuase you feel the creator will turn things out YOUR way if you will it hard enough, and you can't wait to see that happen. It's gotten so bad for me that I've turned against humans having free will at all. I mean, what good is it if they can't even understand the way I think (ummaybebecauseihavemildautism?) much less think the same way? Sorry, I do tend to get elitist when I post late, I really need help with both things. However, in the end I feel its better for me at least to just dream the way I want ti to turn out, and not look to see if it comes true. I would ask for prayer that I can just forget the whole thing, but I already know that it is mentally impossible. I can never forget the abuses that have been done to me either through me or someone else. I just ahve to learn to either aviod it or handle it wiser.

Heh. I wonder how I never noticed that comic. But then again, I slowly drifted away when the blog became precidence over at BDK. If I remember right, he's starting up the comic again.

This is a pretty well drawn comic (as are RHJ's comics!) and I like the story...but where's Lucy's future roomate (whose name eludes me at the moment...)

*ahem* This is directed at Sharuuk. Since you seem to insist on "giving the benefit of the doubt" to Lucy and Fisk, let me show my reasons as to why I cannot do so.

http://www.jaynaylor.com/betterdays/arc ... em_13.html

This would be it. You see, the answer lies within Fisk's response.

He said "Is that what it is to you?" He did not say "Is that what it was to you?"

I'm sorry, Sharuuk, I do hold you in high regard. But my writer's sense tells me that present tense means something is going on, and I do believe Jay has had a portfolio in the past of them "playing" together once. It is part of the characters.

I rest my case. As far as I'm concerned, until this point in the comic, they were definitely having sex with each other. After this arc, it's anybody's guess, but I'm pretty sure she didn't get any from him when he was overseas. Bit hard to do that without the internet, no?
