Which reminds me of the scene in Niven & Pournelle's "Inferno" (possibly a scene from Dante's original, which I haven't read) where the protagonist gets to the wall of the inner part of Hell, and finds the gates have been bodily ripped from their hinges. He's told that Jesus single-handedly did that on His expedition to set the captives free. The protagonist has something of a paradigm shift without a clutch trying to reconcile that with the Eurowimp depiction of Jesus that he's familiar with in those infamous paintings.Steltek wrote:This a man who descended into the depths of Hell itself, and conquered it, taking back with Him the keys of Death and Hell and setting the lost souls free.

Jesus is nothing more than the Greek version of the name Joshua.StrangeWulf13 wrote:Wait, I thought "Immanuel" meant "God with us".
If this is true, what does "Jesus" mean?
