Thanks for all of the links, but again I'm looking for more things such as http://www.deviantart.com/view/10106082/. Reason why is I'm trying to accumulate styles etc to make a possible character. At least I've gotten a few out of this topic. They would be a little styles and the knowledge that Badger characters are just on the minimum due to unpopularity, and not some bizarre reason. When I asked for characters I didn't mean in books btw, I ment as in characters created by people on forums like the good bulk majority of you etc. Thanks for the links they will prove to be quite usefull durring the sketching phases.

Yes, I have heard ferrets and weasels make very good pets, and quite friendly, if you can descent them. And pay for them to start with.

We have had several over the years. They are like kittens that don't grow up. Descenting is good - but it doesn't get rid of all of the "fragrance".Madmoonie wrote:Narnian wrote:However I can say one thing nice about mice - they are tasty with a little Tabasco sauce.![]()

As for paying they are around $100 at pet shops but can often be gotten for less through ferret rescues and sometimes from animal shelters (unfortunately many animal shelters do do adopt them out but kill them).
As for eating mice I recommend watching "Never Cry Wolf"

There's also the five honey badger, or ratel, sisters of the singing group Fornax... Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet and Pink. This is a series of stories currently available only in print by Matt McCullar including "Fornax: Remix 1.1" and "Fornax: You Don't Believe". There are also some more based on the Fornax 'Universe', such as "Fornax: Outtakes From a Recording Studio: A FORNAX Story" by Gary Akins, and several by Phillip J. "Cirrel" Eggerding (These are available online for download at his Wilderhorn Furry Art and Stories... "Touch the Sound... Feel the Music: The Kitta Vulcahno Story", and four based on Matt's "You Don't Believe" story.

Badgering the witness!
If you're looking for artwork with badgers, you could try using Google images.
Otherwise, there are a lot of art sites other than Deviantart. I hear that Yerf is finally back in operation (the old "Squeaky Clean Furry Archives"). And then there's VCL, if you can hack wading through the swamps in hope of finding an occasional gem.

Give the search feature on DeviantArt (top right corner) a try. I have a few tricks up my sleeve I have not pulled out yet so I can come up with a few dozen new anthro badger pics. I saw many pics that I passed over because I was primarily looking for webcomics and comics. I think I can find them sometime later today (Sunday)Dalak Lutra wrote:I'm looking for more things such as http://www.deviantart.com/view/10106082/. I stopped doing that when Taggerung made me cry. Cregga was the only character besides Martin to appear in more than two books and he had to kill her off! *sobs*RedSquirrel456 wrote:I own the entire Redwall series. Read it. Still read it.
Proud of it!
Other than Redwall, I can't think of much outside Ralph's honey badger tulpa from Under the Lemon Tree.
Both a heart and a brain are necessary for survival. Without one, the other will quickly perish.

The book Mossflower turned me on to reading way back when. I'm up to my nose in "to read" books suggested by friends and family, but one day I'll come back to Jaques.
As for badgers...that is kinda strange. Is the pastor in Goblin Hollow a badger? He kinda looks like one. Also, there's a honey badger tulpa in Goblin Hollow (I think I saw it mentioned in at least one other post).

Sorry, but the only badger I've seen was the honey one. The pastor from Nip and Tuck is a wolverine, as Tuck mentioned when he first showed up.Siirenias wrote:As for badgers...that is kinda strange.
