well, currently mines a mess

I still have finals to work on by Monday
My mom still wants me out of her life before I get a job or anything
and I still am socically inadequate, I don't even know if it's okay to post this or not! :(

Oh well, can anyone else remember their 18th birthday?

I remember mine... I was arse-deep in a dust storm somewhere near Camp Red-Devil on the Fort Carson artillery/armor field training range, eating canned scrambled eggs and ham chunks from a box of C-rations, and pondering the fact that I was shortly scheduled to be transferred to the 2nd Armored Cav in Germany for the annual REFORGER.

Well, I hope I remember my 18th birthday. It was only last October. And I'm another one who was (and still is) a freshman in college.

I was old enough to vote, but I didn't register in time. :(

Oh, that was a long time ago for some of us. But I was also a freshman in college on my 18th birthday. It was right about that time that I decided that fasting so the college would give a day's worth of my board money to Oxfam was a really stupid idea. Shortest lines at the dining hall for my entire college career, that day. Back in 1975, that was... just missed the off-season election. The next year I voted for Ford, a small minority on campus and a large minority (unfortunately) nationwide.

Happy Birthday!

I don't remember any of my birthdays, really. Just another day like any other day.
I understand most people celebrate birthdays though. I guess it's a nice idea.

For me, it's enough to wake up in the morning thinking the same thing I think when I go to bed at night... "Just why the @#%! was I ever born, anyway?"
I'm optimistic enough to think I'll someday know the answer to that question.

Wow,18? That would be just at the end of my High school incarceration. The less I remember, the better. But college was soon to start, and that was a far better phase of my life :)

Happy birthday t.s.a.o and you too RH. May God bless you with many more.

Why not? "We are many parts, but are all one body. The gifts we have, we are given to share."

Most christian produced entertainment has proven substandard. But "The Passion of the Christ" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" have shown that movies with blatantly christian themes can be well done and profitable, and still keep their message intact.

Be salt and light wherever you go t.s.a.o! :D

Yes... when we feel God nudging, we just move, like Abraham in the desert. We are the body of Christ, working to fulfill His goals on Earth with His strength in us.

May this 18th birthday bring you one year closer to the blessings God has planned for you!

And happy post birthday Ralph!

My 17th birthday was a few days ago. It's a little early to be asking me this question, eh?
