Anyone who'd laugh off an attack by a raccoon doesn't know raccoons... Unless it was a baby one. An adult male can reach about 35 pounds weight, and they are more likely to scratch and bite than most animals of their size.

They also tend to carry rabies and roundworms. I mean, look at what they eat...

There's actually a scientific name for what it was, but that escapes me at this moment.. :roll: I remeber it was hard to pronounce, and even more difficult to spell. :shifty:
