I no longer have any particular feelings for or against Bush. But it is nice to hear some conservative rock for a change.

Funny thing, listening to "I Wanna Live" they style reminds me of modern country, while "Bush Was Right" reminds me of modern Rock.
Oh, and I especially like the "nyahnyahnyahnyah nyah nyah" guitar riff.

Quoted from above mentioned link: "Praise Limbaugh, y'all! The Right Brothers stoke up the right-wing pyre and throw the liberals on the flames. Hum along as The Right Brothers testify in this love song to all things Bush. Can I get an Amen?!"
Hahaha! I find it hilarious to listen to both conservatives and liberals say the same thing about eachother. (Basicly :"The other side is evil and they are ruining America") People not open to discussion make me want to stay as far away from politics as possible. I have no time for it anyways...

And they both say that the other has no perception of reality.
I especially love the comment "of course it can't be right because the left does not agree"
Um, what's the opposite of left?
I do love the song though. I'm in Massachusetts, so all I hear is Bush-slamming. It's wonderful to listen to something praising our president for a change.

It's not actually symmetrical. The best definition I've seen is:
The Left thinks that their opponents are evil. The Right thinks that their opponents are stupid.

You're not the only one tired of all the criticism. I still don't think he's perfect, but given the choice, I'd shoot Michael Moore instead.

Nice. I guess that's true, but I meant directionally opposite.

It's alright, lads! As probably the farthest left member of the forum, I'll come out now and say I think you're merely stupid. =P
...Some days I say things I just know I'm going to regret later. And yet my awful sense of humour insists.

One suggestion - when calling other folks stupid, it's best not to misspell your post.
Seriously, you're allowed to question our assumptions, present facts we've missed, all that kind of stuff. Just don't start off by assuming that we're doing it because we want to steal Iraqi oil to fund a new way of using kittens to create nuclear waste to put into the drinking water of the poor....

Weel... What I DIDN'T mention was that I think most people on the left are stupid too. It's more that, well, politics tends towards false dichotomies all the time. E.g. Either you must completely support the Gulf War, or you must be completely against it. I think Bush handled the lead in to the Gulf War at least somewhat badly and lost lot of the world's support thereby, but that it was probably a good thing to stop Saddam - but not for the reasons given.
...I dunno. I just can't appreciate viewpoints that absolutely agree with everything one political party does. It's kind of... well... letting others think for you.

Nicely worded. I feel the same way, which is why I've taken to saying I'm more right than left.
Do you like the new smilies?

Ah, well, then! No problem. We mostly lean to the right here, but what we really are is small-l libertarians (Not the big-L Libertarian Party) and Jacksonians. We haven't liked everything Bush has done, not by a long shot; but at the moment the alternative major party is worse. Much much worse.
And you're right. Most people don't want to go to all the trouble of thinking for themselves. The last thought a lot of folks have is to decide who to they're going to let do their thinking for them. Some folks don't even think that far and just decide either to follow their parent's lead or kick off in the opposite direction.
