Feb 28 avoided question

I think Ralph didn't post this one until late last night so it didn't show up except in the archives and put the current one up for today afterwords.
speaking of which, does it actually increase the donation cash flow to put those up? I mean how effective are they, I'm just curious is all.
but back to the 28th...
it figures the first thing some high up people would do is try to discredit someone who got VERY lucky down lower. "if I couldn't do it no one could"
as far as my doubts are concerned I think it was MORE likely she came up with it then that she found out about it. think about it, if she's drunk then how is she going to read or ask someone about making these runes AND retain enough thought to understand what is being said AND have enough thought left over to make them.
understanding something comes much easier if you're the one that made it. in my opinion (imo)

He IS trying to make up for missing fame.
And BTW, don't take this the wrong way, Ralph. but I am beginning to get a bit tired of this constant begging for money. You could have at least waited a few extra hours to post this one...if I haden't curiously clicked this link I would have missed Feb 28. Speaking for myself, it does not make me more likely to contribute more money when something repeatedly pleads for money...it gives me the impression that the strip is in such financial straits that it is liable to go offline at any moment, so any more money I give would just be throwing good money after bad. I read the strip for the characters, not for solicitations.

Bad typist...this is what I get for trying to correct a typo...

But he already has a request for donations on the website, clear to see. He also does graphic work, I understand. I can understand special offers like the Valentine's Day one. But would it have hurt to wait an extra day in this case? Perhaps he could do some other special offer. I would have paid for a card, except I don't have a "significant other". Something for us singletons? I would like to be depicted on this website by him as a mongoose.

Yes, it is clear to see. At the very bottom of the page. I hardly ever scroll down there. I'm just happy he updated it and I didn't miss it (thanks to this thread).

Maybe he could move the raccoon with the cup to the top of the page. Then that would always be the first thing you see.

I didn't know what people meant until I refreshehed the page. Maybe if hed puts a new raccoon kit each month it might make it reasonable to put him on top...be better than that advertisement for the Valentine Day special, which is still up after it expired.

So... he's going into politics, is he?
Odds that he'll pick up some of Clinton's impeachment trial?

Insufficient income means that Ralph eventually goes and does something else for a living. Unless we collectively set up a trust fund for the guy, he's going to continue to experiment with various methods of monetizing his work. Nobody has figured out *the* formula for making a living at this stuff.
