I wonder, if she used faucets would it then be considered a tap dance?

Pumping them out today, are we? Drowning in bad puns isn't usually my cup of tea, but now I am compelled to dive right in. :)

Enough with the bad puns already! Yeesh you guys are worse than my old gaming clan.... :D

I'm a lurker who finally decided to make a post so here it goes.

When I saw the comic I was reminded of this one. Specifically the last pannel.

Fen is going to have to make one of those choices. Kestrel already is waist deep in it and Quentyn will likley be by the end.

I can see where Fen is coming from. I'm just about out of highschool and looking at going into engineering. I like being recognised and appreciated but I also know (as you guys have already pointed out) that being famous ain't all it's cracked up to be. I've decided that I can be satisfied by simply being happy with whatever I accomplish and produce.

Unless he can understand that being famous isn't everything, after this background sub-arc is compleated, Fen is going to have to choose between his freinds and his to the moon dreams.

Matt, saying that being famous isn't everything is a lot like telling a fish that "water isn't everything" or a starving man "food isn't everything".

Certain types of people NEED fame, and die - literally! - without it.

As for the choice, it's one that thousands of people across America make every year when they drop friends, family, jobs, everything, and head for Hollywood.

It's a thin, thin line between something being an addiction and it being a neccessity.

I know someone who pumps herself full of drugs every day. Hell, she's even managed to get her hands on a small battery-powered pump and leaves the needle in her arm all her waking hours.

So what's she hooked on?

Insulin. :-?

June's a diabetic, and recently obtained a Bluetooth-enabled insulin pump AND a Bluetooth-enabled blood-sugar tester. She leaves both stuck in her arms (or legs), and whenever the meter detects an improper level it radios the pump.

She'd die without her insulin.

Some people would die without fame. They NEED to have people worshiping them to be able to go on living. It's not pretty. But it's real.

No need to apologize, as they say ..

I had French, German and Greek 30 years ago and can only remeber a few phrases and some of the dirty words.

TACOS, ENCHALADAS, AND BURRITOES ARE NOW AVAILIBLE AT THE RODEO! RIGHT NEXT TO THE WURSTFEST TENT WITH THE BEER AND SAUSAGE!

Ahem....I'm from Texas. German and Mexican culture make a wonderful food selection in my hometown. I was trying to provide insight into how they affected my vernacular. Especially the way I phoenetically pronouce the words 'tacos, enchalads, burritos, tamales, and guadelope.

Both are local breweries in San Antonio.

Chile Rellenos and a long neck sounds mighty good about now.
