Those darn coons, they get everywhere.
This is a screen shot from 'Freelancer', no joke. I went into the Bar on planet New York and sudenly its like "Holy crap! That guy's called racconan!" I half expected to see him carrying a big purple pigsticker and a plume hat

*hand to forehead* Oh jimminy cricket.
And here I was thinking this'd get a few laughs! Well that was a stupid assumption wasn't it!
You know, I don't know about you but I find it pritty damn funny when a name that bears starteling resembleance to that of a species of anthropromorphic raccoons actualy infiltrated a Microsoft game! What, did you think I was trying to make a point here other then ITS FUNNY?
Yess I know I'm far more easily entertained then most people... hell, I even find the eavning news freekin hilerious and If I could tape the really good episodes I'd post those up here too! But surely you can at least try to see the fun side here?
Lighten up already

Does it count if I find it funny that somebody would name their kid Phil hundreds of years in the high tech future?

I actually kinda find it annoying that all the names in sci-fi shows can never be names like Bob or Jack. Something simple. I like it when sci-fi shows have simple names. Like Phil for instance. Not a big fan of the show, though.
