I don't get why people are so up in arms about the first tril. I like the complexity it adds to the story. And if nothing else, watch it for the action! I don't see any who is complaining about the movie writing enough script for 6 all time favorites.

For the record....I saw EP4 in 1977.......175 times in a theatre. My USAF buddies did as well and we found ourselves using some of the dialog on our CB radios as we rode our motorcycles like X-Wings. I had fitted everyone's helmets with both headsets and mic's and had designed "Push-to-talk" switches for the handlebars. We'd "fly formation" taking the parts of Red 6, Red 5 etc.......it was a hoot.

When "Force Beam" lightswords came out we'd run down the roads at night having lightsabre fights at 50mph. One of the guys was a "ramp tramp" on the air base flight line and put red and green filters in the flashlights. He'd use these 3ft long colored "lightsabers" to marshall aircraft into their parking slots.

The fighter jocks loved it.
