Getting some great snow to go out and tear around the backwoods on. Having a blast, also keeping an eye out for Colonel Stuart and General Esperanza. And no fair using google, you have to get that on your own.

I live in North Carolina. We'd be lucky to get one WEEK of snow.

Doink, I live at the western end of Lake Erie's snow belt. We are lucky to get only four or five FEET of snow. Eight feet is not unheard of, especially in the Heights area (where I live and work).

Here in Florida, I remember when it snowed once in the 1980's. That was neat.

Snooowww?...............bad!
Bad snow! Snow is bad!
Actually, I don't mind snow all that much, I just don't like ice brings with it. I do love when it so much bitterly cold, painfully cold, but I walking around with three layers on and my face all covered. Snug as a bug and warm to boot.

What would you expect from the descendants of criminals and convicts? Just remember, they sent us Paul Hogan, Yahoo Serious, and Steve Irwin. They must pay for such a vile act.

Ah yes... Wonderful winter! Snow packed hard into ice on the side roads, hoarfrost coating the trees, making them look like skeletons. Day after day of freezing gray fog at 5-20 degrees F., the daylight at noon no more than twilight... Scraping ice from my car's windshield, which re-coats the glass as fast as it is removed... Can't go anywhere or do anything. Cabin fever setting in...
Oh yes. I love winter... It tastes like... furniture!
(Goes back to chewing on the coffee table.)

Snow is a riot here in Seattle. It is major news if we are going to get 1" of snow. There is a general panic. People run to the stores and stock up. The best thing to do when it snows is stay away from these crazy people. They don't know how to drive in snow. I grew up in Spokane and we had snow all the time and I learned to drive in it as soon as I got my license. Traffic just halts if here if they even see a few flakes. I love the snow but with the crazy drivers here I try to stay inside when it first snows. I remember when we actually got about 8 to 10 inches of snow. People would abandon their cars in the middle of the road. All I would do is put it in 4 wheel drive and slalom around them.

Hmm... seems a couple of you might get along with a character of mine... thought him up while trying to think of a fursona for me, and remembering what it was like to watch the snow drifts build up outside in our backyard.
Guy's as cold as ice and ruthless as a blizzard. You have to impress him to become friends, which is important since he doesn't care about anyone except family and close friends. Anyone else can freeze as far as he cares. And with his powers over winter, he can easily help them along. He can form ice and snow at will, and sometimes even summon a bitter winter gale. He can freeze you with a breath or use snowballs or ice knives that explode into freezing clouds of mist. And if you stand still enough...

...he can freeze your heart in your chest.
I'll leave you all with a little saying they have around the place where he lives:
When the moon is full
And the snow shines bright
Beware young child
White Wulf rules the night
*grins and disappears into a blizzard as a lone wolf howls in the distance*
