Looks to me like a combination lux flare and recharger... i think it works on the concept of a capacitor in this case. Rather than an explosive analogy, perhaps we should be considering an electromagnetic one... the 'charge' was directed upwards by the copper pipe, but the moving current produced a lux field that expanded outwards perpendicular to the current flow (namely across the ruins) Considering he left it near the luxfont for several days, it probably has more than enough charge to overload all the tappers there and recharge anything that remotely absorbs Lux... and WC sucks it up like a sponge. On top of that, it shot a blast of Lux straight up into the air, making a nice signal flare for the police to come down on the near-incapacitated gang members.

That, is a distinct possibility.....Bush/America bashing is heavily frowned on here....be advised.....you may say whatever you like, just don't be surprised at the response(s).

You needn't worry on that issue....nobody's going to even try....and that "curing" comment was made with tongue planted firmly in cheek BTW...but again, be advised that this is a heavily conservative oriented forum. You're welcome to join in any discussion/thread you like, no-one is going to stop you or even make the attempt. And who knows.....you might even learn a thing or three.
