I think that his evilness is enhanced by the bond of Wildcard. The bond driving him nut and he'll do anything to have his sword back as soon that possible, the consequences aren't important currently.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Fantastic.

Well, even if the building isn't going to come down entirely, my guess is it'll collapse at least partially as those logs support at least a certain section of the building. I think at least the front will come down, leaving them with no wall out front.

Hello, Lee M. Hello, Catherine_Puce. Welcome to the forums. It's nice to meet you. :D

That last scene reminded me a little bit of Charlie Brown, the way he says "Good grief!" or "Rats!"

Does this remind anyone else of Charlie Brown? I'm just noticing two little similarities, course...maybe I'm just nuts (Scratch that, it goes without saying.) But yeah, just the way the gang members look (the mouths and positions and whatnot) and then the ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Depending on the personal lux reserves of the sum total of the gang members, plus the fact that buildings must fall over SOMETIMES in the Tumbledowns (even if the name only means that usually they all LOOK like they are about to collapse), it is quite possible that the rubble will get deflected enough in its fall by the cumulative reactions of the gang members that injuries/fatalities will be significantly reduced.

Maybe Catherine_Puce can delete some? I was able to do that when I keep getting "server out" or some such message when I tried to post something, and then all my attempts showed up. Or maybe it's too late with the later posts (I had to do mine one at a time).
Wow...four in a row. I must have died and gone to the Right Place.

I just hope Ralph isn't trying to pull this out as a 'grand finally' or something.

I thought something was going on when the pattern of long waits would be breached by back to back (to back to back) posts.

looks like it did fall down.
I still say the doctor did it....

Heh heh, top this Charlie Brown.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Well, if he's ending the strip, he is sure leaving a lot of loose threads lying around...like Rosad's followers and the fence's scheme. Maybe this is a holiday treat? Or RHjr's RL and creative muse are just combining to produce this flow?

I think now the lux bomb is to zap the tappers so Quentyn can easily pinpoint Wildcard in the wreckage.
