If he survives this, gets his sword back, and manages to take out both gangs in the process (by leading the Guardsmen to them possibly), he might get another article in the paper.

Oh yeah, there's definitely people in the city who are gonna be PO'ed at Quentyn. Most of all will be the toffs who set up that little deal with the gangs. Their timetable will probably end up scrapped, or set on warp 9, just to keep ahead of the investigations.

They can't, legally, put his head on a pike. But who's to say they can't still make him pay for screwing with their plans?
