I finally couldn't stand it, so I went back to the strip. I was picturing Quentyn a bloody pulp, as in intensive care critical ward. I am glad to see my fears were exagerated. I look forward now to Quentyn getting Wildcard and the Royals getting...well "theirs".

Yep. Copper center, nonconductive matrix-- even has the same basic shape as an electrical capacitor. Charge that sucker up with three days worth of lux, and you can kiss your tappers goodbye. AND the residual will do an instant-charge on Wildcard.
I do believe the Royals are in for 'interesting times'...
