Oct. 21st - Ready for purchase

Post by Madmoonie »

Well, the buyer has a Rac'conan nose so that rules any possibility of him being human. At least, I think. Any bets on the planks under Quentyn creaking than cracking, THEN Quentyn tumbling down in dusty and wet mess among the Royals and Shadow Racs?
Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?' John 11: 25-26

I think the buyer came alone.

Freak, doesn't like the rain.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

I can almost bet you it is goingto be someone we have seen before, not someone new. You know if Quentn solves this new adventure, he is never going to get home!

It's the cop, what better scam? Hard arse cop to the public, and crime boss in secret.

See, that is what I thought. But then I thought it was a bit too obvious a solution.

Mind telling me just where a cop gets that kind of money? I'm gonna go ahead and put my money on some unknown toff who's organized the whole thing.

In other words, Mr. Big lives on.

*loads sniper rifle* Let's fix that, shall we? :D
I'm lost. I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait. Thanks.

It could be Marybeth's uncle. It was at his home when Quentyn was naked in the closet where he overheard
two men talking about the Gang Ploy. The Maid called one sir when she needed to get into the closet.

Then again it's just a guess.

It's not just a guess: It's an excellent observation and, in my opinion, the best we've come up with. Of course, there's a still a good chance it's wrong. . . .

It might be. OTOH, the maid might very well have done the 'sir/ma'am' routine to her bosses' guests on general principles, too. I'm sure we'll find out.

That, and the fact that those could probably just have been guests visiting. I have the feeling we may not even find out who this guy is quite yet.

That WOULD be an interesting complication. How does Quentyn explain to Meribeth that he got her uncle busted? Since she lives in his village, that could make for some very awkward future moments when he went home.

Well it could even get more interesting it you really want to think outside the box. Maribeth it there to pick up a shipment of wine, maybe there will be an extra box in the shipment that she does not know about. :o :o

True, even though they are not the servants boss, the servants still call them by respectfull titles.

*stunned at thought*

...but... we really have no reason to believe it would be him. What would even bring him up as a possibility?

He's a known entity, is wealthy and may or may not have been at the party or have anything to do with this.....as I said, totally from left field and little more than a thought......It could just as well be the Adjucator.....HE is the one who asseses and collects fines isn't he? That's where the money could be coming from. Fact is, we really don't know anything about the "toff".

I'm just running things thru my mind.....no accusations being made.
