This'd be a good time for Quentyn to step back and say quietly... "They've got gold, girls, beer, cannibis, and all this stuff too - how's a guy join up with this gang?"

That would bring most watchers out, I think.

What I meant was - by saying that, he'd bring out of hiding anyone who was keeping an eye on him. He's a new guy in a crowd of drunks who've been flashing gold... Who are also professional thieves and cut-purses. My inherent paranoia says he's being tested.
I'd kinda like to see him pass.

Yep. Though there's another scenario possible. If they really -are- all boozed out, what if the Redcaps show up? We already know that there's a lot of bad blood between 'em, and Quentyn's showed them up twice now - got away from the whole gang, and took out three of 'em single-handed. What if they followed him?

I doubt it. They a pretty quick exit. I doubt that was a planned beating so I dobt the Redcaps leaders knew they were there. The Redcaps that Quentyn took out were probably out of it for awhile so they would have no clue which direction they went.

In other words, the Redcaps have no clue where Quentyn is or why should they find him.

Point. On the other hand, what if they've been watching the Royals' hideout and decided this is a good time to strike? I think the test scenario is more likely, too, but the other one occurred to me and I thought I'd toss it out there.

And yet, there is WC, with what looks like a fairly decent charge. Seems that WC is a lux tapper itself, and stronger than either the wards or the box.

Because Jimmy Carter didn't have the sense to make it the size of a dollar. It looked and felt almost exactly like a quarter and was often confused for same. (and it was great when I got a roll of quarters and discovered that they were Susan B's miswrapped)

Hmm. If you put a Canadian dollar in a juke box, does it play loonie tunes?
